Ballistic protection steel
MITAK 550 is a steel that can be used in most protection applications :
- Armored vehicles (light, heavy, cross-country, limousines)
- Protective doors and walls
- Safe deposit boxes
It is an excellent grade, combining performance, lightness and ease of handling. Thinner than MITAK 500 for the same ballistic protection performance, this steel allows weight savings for the most demanding applications.
